Bhubaneswar, 04 May (H.S.): Reports circulating in certain sections of the media regarding a possible cabinet expansion and reshuffle in Odisha have been termed “completely baseless and misleading” by state BJP president Manmohan Samal.

Samal clarified that the BJP government in Odisha, under the leadership of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, is approaching the completion of two years in office. He stated that the government has already fulfilled a significant number of promises outlined in its election manifesto.

He further informed that the party has recently announced the list of state office bearers, members of the state executive committee, and office bearers of various frontal organizations. The remaining vacant party positions will also be filled and announced in the near future.

However, dismissing speculation around cabinet expansion and reshuffle, Samal said that some media outlets have been spreading “fabricated and misleading” news without any factual basis.

He emphasized that all important decisions, including any potential cabinet expansion, will be taken at an appropriate time.
