03 May (HS): World Press Freedom Day is observed across the world on May 3 as a
reminder to governments to uphold their commitment to press freedom and for
media workers to reflect on professional ethics. Yogi Adityanath, the Chief
Minister of Uttar Pradesh, greeted all journalists on World Press Freedom Day
2026.

of Impartiality: CM Yogi underlined the need of journalists' impartiality,
bravery, and independence in promoting democracy and leading society.

devotion in order to support democracy. The Chief Minister's statement is part
