Bhubaneswar, 03 May (H.S.): Odisha State Cooperative Milk Producers' Federation has announced a uniform hike in milk prices across Odisha, raising the cost of all major variants by ₹4 per litre. The revised rates are expected to impact daily consumers across the state.

According to the latest revision, toned milk will now be priced at ₹54 per litre, up from ₹50. Premium milk has increased from ₹54 to ₹58 per litre. Gold Premium milk will cost ₹60 per litre, compared to its earlier price of ₹56, while Gold Premium Plus milk has been revised from ₹60 to ₹64 per litre.

The across-the-board increase reflects a broader pricing adjustment by OMFED. While the federation has not specified the exact reasons for the hike, such revisions are generally attributed to rising procurement costs, higher transportation expenses, and other operational factors.
