Domestic bullion markets have witnessed a sharp upward momentum in trade today. In today’s session, 24‑karat gold has risen by ₹510 to ₹810 per 10 grams across key centres, while silver has gained ₹9,900 per kilogram. The uptick has pushed 24‑karat gold in most local sarafa markets to trade in the range of ₹1,50,930–₹1,52,730 per 10 grams, and 22‑karat gold between ₹1,38,350 and ₹1,40,000 per 10 grams.
In Delhi, silver is being quoted at ₹2,65,000 per kilogram.
On a weekly basis, however, gold prices have come off sharply from the previous week’s peaks. In last week’s trade, 24‑karat gold shed up to ₹2,960 per 10 grams, while 22‑karat gold weakened by up to ₹2,850 per 10 grams.
In contrast, silver posted a weekly gain of around ₹5,000 per kilogram, helping it close the week on a stronger note compared with the prior‑week levels.
In Delhi, today’s rates show 24‑karat gold at ₹1,51,080 per 10 grams and 22‑karat at ₹1,38,500 per 10 grams, while in Mumbai, they are quoted at ₹1,50,930 and ₹1,38,350 per 10 grams, respectively. In Ahmedabad, the 24‑karat benchmark stands at ₹1,50,980 per 10 grams, with 22‑karat trading near ₹1,38,400 per 10 grams.
Outside these hubs, Chennai has seen the highest 24‑karat quote at ₹1,52,730 per 10 grams, with 22‑karat at ₹1,40,000 per 10 grams, while in Kolkata they remain at ₹1,50,930 and ₹1,38,350 per 10 grams, respectively. In Bhopal, 24‑karat gold is quoted at ₹1,50,980 per 10 grams and 22‑karat at ₹1,38,400 per 10 grams, and in Lucknow, they trade at ₹1,51,080 and ₹1,38,500 per 10 grams.
Similarly, in Patna and Jaipur, 24‑karat gold is priced at ₹1,50,980 and ₹1,51,080 per 10 grams, with respective 22‑karat levels at ₹1,38,400 and ₹1,38,500 per 10 grams. Bullion‑market participants in Karnataka, Telangana, and Odisha are also reporting a firm‑uptrend bias, with their capital cities—Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar—showing 24‑karat gold around ₹1,50,930 per 10 grams and 22‑karat near ₹1,38,350 per 10 grams, underscoring a broadly supportive backdrop for precious metals across the country.
