Bhubaneswar, 03 May (H.S.): A joining programme was organised by the Bharatiya Janata Party in Khaira block under Simulia constituency of Balasore district, where several leaders and workers from the Biju Janata Dal formally joined the BJP.

The event, held at Durga Mandap in Khaira, was attended by State Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan. In his presence, Khaira Block Chairperson Abhilipsa Mohanty, Zilla Parishad member Manas Kumar Das, along with several other district council members, panchayat samiti members, and hundreds of party workers from BJD joined the BJP.

On the occasion, Harichandan, along with Bhadrak MP Abhimanyu Sethi, Simulia MLA Padmalochan Panda, and district president Ishwar Chandra Behera, welcomed the new members by offering party scarves.

Addressing the gathering, Harichandan expressed confidence that the induction of new members would strengthen the party organisation and contribute to the overall development of the region in the coming days.
