
Dhubri, 27 May (HS): A state-level Census training programme was held at the Circuit House Conference Hall in Dhubri on Wednesday under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner Amar Jyoti Barman. Administrative officers, Circle Officers, BDOs and officials associated with Census operations attended the programme.
The three-day training covers various aspects of Census 2027, including the Census Management and Monitoring System (CMMS), digital Census operations, self-enumeration process and data security. The training was conducted by Deputy Registrar General of Census Commission of India Bharati Chandra and Master Trainer Kishore Kumar Das.
Addressing the participants, Bharati Chandra said Census data plays a crucial role in development planning and remains strictly confidential. She informed that the 2027 Census will be conducted digitally for the first time through smartphones and the CMMS portal.---------
