
New Delhi, May 27 (H.S.): Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu on Wednesday held a meeting with Members of Parliament from Delhi and officials of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) regarding the inclusive development of the national capital. The primary focus of the meeting was to strengthen the role of the DDA in the implementation of housing, land, and civic infrastructure projects. MPs Harsh Malhotra, Manoj Tiwari, Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, Kamaljeet Sehrawat, Bansuri Swaraj, and Praveen Khandelwal were present at the meeting.
Posting on social media platform X, the Lieutenant Governor stated that the meeting deliberated on practical measures to accelerate public facilities, address local infrastructure requirements, and improve grassroots-level delivery mechanisms across Delhi. He said that this shared spirit of cooperation reflects Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a Viksit Bharat and the collective resolve to ensure seamless progress in the national capital.
The Lieutenant Governor further said that all stakeholders are committed to building robust infrastructure and realising the dream of a world-class developed Delhi.
