From June 5, it will cover Faridkot, Bathinda, Ferozepur, Sri Muktsar Sahib and Fazilka, while from June 9, the remaining districts including Ludhiana, Patiala, Sangrur, Jalandhar and Moga will be covered.

Tarunpreet Singh Sond stated that PSPCL has completed maintenance works of transmission lines, transformers and other power infrastructure in advance to avoid disruptions during peak demand. Dedicated teams and control rooms have also been deployed across the state to ensure quick redressal of faults and uninterrupted electricity supply to farmers during the paddy season.
