Bhubaneswar, 24 May (H.S.) Odisha Health Minister Dr. Mukesh Mahaling has expressed deep grief over the deaths reported after a funeral feast in Nuadihi village under Hemgiri block of Sundargarh district in Odisha.

In a social media post, the Health Minister said he was “deeply saddened and shocked” to learn about the untimely deaths of several persons after they consumed food served during the shraddha feast in the village.

He conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for eternal peace for the departed souls. The minister also wished a speedy recovery for all those currently undergoing treatment following the incident.
