New Delhi, May 23 (H.S.): Cricket Ireland has announced a 14-member squad for the historic Test match against New Zealand, scheduled to be played from May 27 to May 30 at Stormont in Belfast.

Andrew Balbirnie will captain the side and is set to lead Ireland in Test cricket for the 10th time. However, the team will be without several key players due to injuries.

Paul Stirling, Barry McCarthy, Josh Little, Gavin Hoey, and Jordan Neill have all been ruled out of the match because of fitness concerns.

Meanwhile, Jake Egan, Tom Mayes, Liam McCarthy, and Reuben Wilson could be in line to make their Test debuts during the encounter.

On the other hand, New Zealand have also announced their squad for the match. Tom Latham will captain the Kiwi side, while star batter Kane Williamson has also been included in the team.
