
New Delhi, May 23 (H.S.): The 68th Governing Body Meeting (GBM) of the Asian Productivity Organization (APO) concluded successfully in New Delhi after three days of extensive discussions, strategic deliberations, and high-level engagements.
According to a statement issued on Saturday by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the meeting was held from May 20 to May 22 at Bharat Mandapam in the national capital. During the three-day session, the APO Governing Body reviewed the organisation’s “Vision 2030” roadmap as well as various institutional performance measures.
The ministry stated that the event was hosted by the National Productivity Council (NPC) under the aegis of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.
The meeting witnessed participation from heads of National Productivity Organizations (NPOs), senior government officials, policymakers, productivity experts, and representatives from APO member economies.
The successful hosting of the 68th Governing Body Meeting of the Asian Productivity Organization has reaffirmed India’s commitment to enhancing productivity, strengthening regional cooperation, and promoting sustainable socio-economic development across the Asia-Pacific region.
