
New Delhi, May 21 (H.S.): The main draw for the singles events of the French Open 2026 will be conducted in Paris on Thursday, May 21. The draw ceremony is scheduled to begin at 2:00 PM local time, which corresponds to 5:30 PM IST.
This year’s French Open will be held from May 24 to June 7 at Roland Garros in Paris. The draw ceremony will be streamed live on the official French Open YouTube channel. In India, the tournament will be broadcast on the Sony Sports Network, while live streaming will be available on Sony LIV and FanCode.
The total prize money for this year’s tournament has been increased by 9.5 percent. The overall prize pool has been set at more than €61.7 million. Winners of both the men’s and women’s singles titles will receive prize money of €2.8 million.

In a major setback for the tournament, reigning men’s singles champion Carlos Alcaraz has withdrawn from this year’s edition due to a wrist injury.
In the women’s singles category, American star Coco Gauff enters the tournament as the defending champion.
Last year, Spain’s Marcel Granollers and Argentina’s Horacio Zeballos won the men’s doubles title.
The women’s doubles title was claimed by the Italian pair of Jasmine Paolini and Sara Errani. Sara Errani also won the mixed doubles title alongside fellow Italian Andrea Vavassori.
In the wheelchair category, Great Britain’s Alfie Hewett and Japan’s Yui Kamiji won the men’s and women’s singles titles respectively.
