The Haque/New Delhi, 16 May (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address a community programme in The Hague during his visit to the Netherlands, saying it is always a pleasure to interact with the Indian diaspora. He noted that the engagement with overseas Indians remains one of the most meaningful parts of his international visits.

PM Modi said he was looking forward to meeting members of the Indian community during the morning event, underlining the importance he attaches to the diaspora’s role in strengthening India’s global connections.

The Prime Minister’s visit to the Netherlands also includes bilateral discussions with Dutch leadership, with talks expected to focus on expanding cooperation in trade, investment, semiconductors, clean energy, water management, agriculture, defence and emerging technologies.

According to reports, the Indian community in The Hague welcomed PM Modi with enthusiasm ahead of the programme, reflecting the strong emotional and cultural bond between the Prime Minister and overseas Indians.
