Bhubaneswar, 15 May (H.S.) The Odisha Government has directed all district collectors to strictly implement the transfer and rotation process for ministerial and field-level employees in the Revenue Administration.

Arvind Padhee, Additional Chief Secretary of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, has communicated to all district collectors, instructing them to ensure the timely execution of this process.

According to the directive, employees including Section Officers (SO), Senior Revenue Assistants (SRA), Junior Revenue Assistants (JRA), and field-level staff such as Revenue Supervisors (RS), Revenue Inspectors (RI), Assistant Revenue Inspectors (ARI), and Amins who have served in the same office for over three years must be transferred or rotated without exception.

The government stated that this move aims to enhance administrative efficiency, transparency, and accountability in district collectorates, sub-collector offices, block offices, and tehsil offices across the state.

Taking serious note of pending transfer cases in several districts, the state government has issued strict instructions to complete the entire transfer and rotation exercise during the current transfer season, by June 15, 2026.

The directive further emphasizes that transfers of all officers and employees who have served for over three years in the same office or establishment must be executed in accordance with the government's existing policies and guidelines.

District administrations have also been instructed to submit a detailed compliance report to the department immediately after completing the transfer process.
