15 May (HS): Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, is currently
visiting the Nautanwa assembly seat in Maharajganj. He will launch 42
development projects costing more than Rs 208 crore in the district, including
the laying of foundation stones for numerous projects. CM Yogi will arrive at
the program location in Madhuban Nagar, Nautanwa, and address a large crowd.
These Rs 208 crore initiatives aim to improve infrastructure in border regions
and across Maharajganj.
Due
to the Chief Minister's visit, the India-Nepal international border has been
declared a high alert zone. Police, SSB, and intelligence services are
undertaking extensive inspections. Every individual entering India from Nepal
is asked to show their Aadhaar cards/identity cards, and their cars are
examined. Drones and CCTV cameras are used to monitor the security
preparations.
In
a post on X, UP CM remarked, “Today, on the sacred soil of Maharajganj, a new
chapter of development, trust, and public welfare will gain momentum through
the inauguration and foundation stone laying of 79 development projects costing
more than Rs. 208 crore. On this occasion, the beneficiaries of various public
welfare schemes will receive approval letters and toolkits, infusing new energy
into the resolve for self-reliance and empowerment. Thereafter, by
participating in the intellectuals' conference organized in Gorakhpur, an
opportunity will be gained for meaningful dialogue toward nation-building, good
governance, and a developed Uttar Pradesh. At the same time, I will also
conduct an on-site inspection of various projects under the Amrit 2.0 program.”
