Udalguri (Assam), 15 May (HS): Newly appointed Assam Cabinet Minister Charan Boro received a warm and enthusiastic welcome from party leaders and workers upon his arrival in Udalguri last night. Hundreds of supporters gathered to greet the minister with band performances, dancing and celebratory processions as he was escorted to his residence.

The atmosphere in the area turned festive as party workers accompanied the minister amid loud cheers and traditional celebrations. Supporters expressed happiness over Boro’s induction into the Assam Cabinet and extended their congratulations during the reception programme.

Speaking to the media, Charan Boro said he was happy and honoured to get the opportunity to serve the people under the leadership of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. He further stated that he would work dedicatedly for the welfare and development of the people.----------
