Shinde and Sunetra Pawar have condoled the death of renowned psychiatrist and
writer Dr Anand Nadkarni.
Shinde in his condolence message said Dr Nadkarni
was not only a psychiatrist, but also a renowned writer who authored more than
17 books, a poet and acted as consultant for many drama and films. He was also
a singer and table player. Dr Nadkarni was the founder of the Institute for
Psychological Health in Thane and served the society with proper understanding
of their social life.
Sunetra Pawar called Dr Nadkarni a social thinker
and psychiatrist. He established Muktangan De-addiction Centre to serve the
society. His life is an inspiration for the young generation. May the almighty
help his family members the strength to bear the loss.
