15 May (HS): Following the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Prayagraj
Municipal Corporation organized an electric bike rally to spread the message of
Swadeshi, energy conservation, and environmental awareness. Organized under the
chairmanship of Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani, the rally began at Subhash Square in
Civil Lines and concluded at Municipal Corporation Gate No. 1 in an atmosphere
of enthusiasm, energy, and patriotism.
A
large number of public representatives, party officials, and workers
participated in this awareness rally, which carried the tricolor, and spread
the message of environmental protection and energy conservation. During the
rally, slogans like Nation First - Duty First, Go
Green, Save Energy, and Self-reliant India filled
the atmosphere with patriotism and awareness.
The
main objective of the program was to inspire the public to reduce the
increasing consumption of petrol and diesel, adopt pollution-free
transportation, and use indigenous and environmentally friendly means. On this
occasion, Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani said that the Prime Minister's message is not
limited to government schemes, but rather, it is a matter of responsibility and
participation of every citizen. He said that environmental protection has
become a global necessity today, and every section of society must come forward
to achieve it.
The
Mayor stated that the use of electric vehicles is the need of the future, as it
not only reduces pollution but also empowers the country economically by saving
fuel. He appealed to citizens to use electric vehicles as much as possible and
play an active role in conserving natural resources.
Through
the rally, in keeping with the Prime Minister's inspiration, the message was
conveyed to the people that reducing petrol and diesel consumption, promoting
indigenous products, and adopting an environmentally friendly lifestyle is
truly serving the nation. This initiative, organized by the Prayagraj Municipal
Corporation, was appreciated by the city residents, who called it a need of the
hour.

Akash Sonkar, Bablu Raghuvanshi, Rudra Sen Jaiswal, Ritesh Mishra, Mukesh Lara,
Pramod Jaiswal, Sahil Arora, Sunita Chopra, Ashish Dwivedi, Rajesh Kesarwani,
Sanskar Singh, Adarsh Sinha, Amar Singh, Subhash Vaishya, Babban Prajapati,
Vivek Mishra, and numerous public representatives and activists were present.
They unanimously called for environmental protection, energy conservation, and
strengthening the resolve for a self-reliant India. At the end of the
programme, the message was given that if every citizen changes small habits and
adopts environment-friendly means, then India will not only become
pollution-free but it will also be possible to create a safe and green future
for the coming generations.
