Bhubaneswar, 15 May (H.S.): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi on Friday urged people to strengthen efforts towards the protection of endangered species and preservation of nature on the occasion of National Endangered Species Day.

In a social media post, the Chief Minister said that India’s timeless cultural belief teaches that nature and humanity thrive together in harmony. He stated that protecting endangered species is not only an environmental responsibility, but also a duty deeply rooted in the country’s values, traditions, and respect for all forms of life.

Majhi appealed to citizens to work collectively for conserving the rich natural heritage and ensuring a safer and greener future for coming generations. He further emphasized the importance of biodiversity conservation and sustainable environmental practices for ecological balance.
