Guwahati, 15 May (HS): The Satradhikar of Auniati Satra, Shri Shri Pitambar Dev Goswami, on Friday stated that every indigenous person in Assam feels secure under the leadership of Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Speaking on the role of the state government in safeguarding Assam’s cultural and traditional identity, the Satradhikar said that Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has consistently worked for the protection of the State’s indigenous communities and the Vaishnavite satra culture. He remarked that due to the Chief Minister’s initiatives and firm stand on sensitive issues, people across Assam now feel a greater sense of security and confidence.

Pitambar Dev Goswami further expressed hope that during the next five years, the Chief Minister would work with even greater commitment and activeness for the protection and preservation of Assam’s satra institutions, traditions and cultural heritage. He also appreciated the government’s efforts towards strengthening the spiritual and cultural foundations of the State.----------
