New Delhi, 13 May (H.S.):

The matter concerning the alleged leak of the NEET‑UG 2026 question paper has been brought before the Supreme Court, officials said. The Federation of All India Medical Associations (FAIMA) has challenged what it calls systemic failures by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in conducting NEET 2026.

FAIMA has petitioned the Court to oversee the investigation and has urged that the probe be headed by a former Supreme Court judge. The petition seeks the constitution of a high‑powered monitoring committee to supervise the entire process of re‑conducting NEET 2026. It further requests that, until a new independent examination authority is formally established, any re‑examination of NEET 2026 should be conducted under the supervision of this judicially constituted committee.
