
New Delhi, 12 May (H.S.): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Nitin Nabin will attend the oath‑taking ceremony of AI‑PNRCC leader N. Rangasamy as Chief Minister of Puducherry on Wednesday. During his visit, he will also meet BJP legislators and party workers in the Union Territory.
According to information received from BJP headquarters, Nitin Nabin will arrive in Puducherry on Tuesday evening, where party workers will welcome him. From there, he will proceed to the BJP office to meet party workers, followed by a meeting with the BJP’s newly elected legislators. He will later meet family members of BJP workers as well.
The swearing‑in ceremony will be held at Lok Niwas, where Lieutenant Governor K. Kailashnathan will administer the oath of office and secrecy to N. Rangasamy. Union Minister and the party’s Puducherry election in‑charge, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, will also attend the ceremony.
It is noteworthy that an NDA‑led government is being formed in Puducherry under the leadership of the All India N.R. Congress (AI‑PNRCC), with the BJP serving as the coalition’s second‑largest party.
