01 May (HS): Speeding up the teacher recruitment process in the state, the
Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission will conduct a written
examination for 624 posts of lecturer (Advertisement No. 02/2022) on May 9 and
10, 2026. A total of 4,64,605 candidates will appear in this examination, for
which 319 examination centres have been proposed in 17 districts of the state. The
exam will be held in two shifts daily on both days. The first shift will be
from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, and the second shift will be from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
The exam will be held in the districts of Agra, Aligarh, Prayagraj, Azamgarh,
Bareilly, Basti, Banda, Ayodhya, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Kanpur Nagar, Lucknow,
Meerut, Mirzapur, Moradabad, Saharanpur, and Varanasi.
According to the subject wise examination schedule,
on May 9 and 10, examinations of various subjects including Physics, English,
Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, History, Geography, Economics, Hindi,
Sanskrit, Arts, Sociology, Psychology, Commerce, Agriculture, Home Science,
Education and Civics will be conducted in the scheduled shifts.
Commission Chairman Dr. Prashant Kumar has informed
that advance information about the examination district will be made available
on the Commission's official website from April 30, 2026. Candidates will be
able to obtain information about their examination district by visiting the
website and entering the required details. The advance information to be issued
will not be an admit card. Candidates can download the admit card for appearing
in the examination from the Commission's website from May 6, 2026. No candidate
will be allowed to appear in the examination without a valid admit card. All
candidates have been appealed to obtain information about the examination
district in time and ensure preparation for the examination by downloading the
admit card by the scheduled date, so that the examination process can be completed
smoothly and systematically.
