New Delhi, 01 May (H.S.): Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu completed self-enumeration at Lok Nivas on Friday under Census-2027. The Census 2027 campaign officially began today across all wards of the Delhi Municipal Corporation.

Sharing his post on social media account, the Lieutenant Governor stated that this digital initiative by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi enables citizens to submit their household information directly, ensuring accurate enumeration of every resident. He emphasized that reliable data is crucial for inclusive governance and building a strong, developed nation.

The Lieutenant Governor urged all Delhi residents to participate in the self-enumeration process and support the census. He said your participation plays a vital role in shaping the future of our city and nation.

Notably, the Census 2027 campaign began on April 16 in Delhi Cantt and New Delhi Municipal Council areas. From May 1, the first phase of Census-2027 has started across all MCD wards. Residents in these areas can complete online self-enumeration until May 15.
