Prayagraj/Lucknow,

01 May (HS): On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the

recruitment process is being expedited in all departments of the state. In this

regard, taking a significant initiative in the higher education sector, the

Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission, Prayagraj, has issued a revised

advertisement for 107 Assistant Professor (B.Ed.) posts. This step is

considered important in providing quick employment to qualified youth in the

state and strengthening the education system.

This advertisement falls under the previously

issued Advertisement No. 51, which included 107 B.Ed. positions out of a total

of 1,017 Assistant Professor positions in non-government aided colleges. The

previous process was canceled due to court orders and qualification objections.

Now, in compliance with the orders of the Allahabad High Court and the Supreme

Court, and ensuring qualifications in accordance with the National Council for

Teacher Education (NCTE) Regulations 2014, this revised advertisement has been

issued.

Commission Chairman Dr. Prashant Kumar stated that

the new educational qualifications for the post of B.Ed. Assistant Professor

have been determined based on orders issued by the Higher Education Department

of the Uttar Pradesh Government on February 12, 2026, and March 11, 2026. The

Commission has clarified that only those candidates will be eligible to apply

who fulfill the prescribed qualifications by August 31, 2022.

The online application process began on April 28,

2026, with the deadline set for May 27, 2026 (11:59 PM). Candidates have until

May 30, 2026, to amend their applications and reconcile fees. The proposed exam

will be held on July 28, 2026.

Eligible candidates who had previously applied in

the advertisements dated July 9, 2022, and May 23, 2025, will be required to

reapply, although they will not be required to deposit the application fee

again. Their previous application number has been made available through their

registered mobile number and email. Candidates who do not meet the prescribed

eligibility criteria can submit an application to the Commission for a refund

of their application fee. Candidates are urged to carefully study the detailed
