New Delhi, 06 April (H.S.):
Tata Group carriers Air India and Air India Express will jointly run 30 scheduled and non-scheduled flights to and from West Asia today, navigating ongoing regional tensions.
Of these, 10 flights are non-scheduled services connecting to the United Arab Emirates—a sharp drop from prior days—subject to slot availability and approvals from Indian and UAE authorities. Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah remain linked via ad-hoc flights: Air India services Delhi-Dubai, while Air India Express connects Mangalore-Dubai, limited Delhi-Abu Dhabi runs, and Amritsar-Sharjah plus Kannur-Sharjah routes.
Scheduled Services Persist
Muscat (Oman) operations continue unabated, with Air India Express flying from Delhi, Kannur, Mumbai, and Thiruvananthapuram. Salalah services remain suspended. IndiGo will maintain select operations amid evolving conditions.
