Istanbul, 30 April (H.S.): Turkish Airlines has officially announced the resumption of its flight services to three major West Asian cities—Damascus, Beirut, and Amman—effective May 1.

The carrier had suspended operations on these routes on February 28. At that time, heightened regional tensions, specifically following strikes by the United States and Israel on Iran, resulted in the closure of multiple national airspaces, forcing the airline to halt services as a safety precaution.

Following recent indications that the regional situation is beginning to stabilize, the airline has decided to reinstate these essential routes. This restoration of service is expected to provide significant relief to travelers and businesses alike, as these three cities are pivotal hubs for regional connectivity.

The resumption of these flights is anticipated to improve overall air traffic and provide a much-needed boost to regional economic activity. Furthermore, this development serves as a welcome resolution for passengers who have relied on complex alternative travel arrangements over the past several months.
