
Bhubaneswar, 03 April (H.S.) : Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi has called on citizens to actively participate in the upcoming Census 2027 self-enumeration initiative, highlighting the importance of accurate data in shaping a progressive state and nation.
In a social media post, the Chief Minister emphasised that reliable statistics and well-planned strategies are essential for building a strong and forward-looking society. He noted that Census 2027 will provide a new direction to the state’s development trajectory.
Majhi also underscored that, for the first time, the entire census process is being digitalised, introducing a citizen-friendly self-enumeration system. This initiative allows individuals to independently submit their household details online, ensuring both convenience and accuracy.
Sharing his personal participation, the Chief Minister stated that he has already completed the self-enumeration process for his family and encouraged others to follow suit.
He urged citizens to visit the official portal before April 15 and submit their family details securely and accurately. According to him, collective public participation will play a crucial role in advancing the vision of a prosperous Odisha under the banner of Samruddha Odisha.
