UP CM pays tribute to Surdas

Lucknow,

April 21 (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is focusing on

commemorating different saint-poets in the Braj area, especially Sant Surdas,

to emphasize cultural history and spiritual legacy. CM Yogi has prioritized the

development of Surdasji's Sadhana sites, such as Parasauli and Chandrasarovar,

as part of his government's attempts to promote Mathura's spiritual and

cultural legacy.

In

a post on X, he remarked, “Humble tributes to the great saint and poet Surdas

Ji, the supreme devotee of Lord Krishna, the Yogeshwar, on his sacred birth

anniversary! The ascetic life of the revered Surdas Ji, the immortal singer of

Krishna's pastimes, shows us the path to Krishna's grace.”
