(HS): Nationalist Congress Party Founder President and former Union Minister

Sharad Pawar has been admitted against to the Breach Candy Hospital on Tuesday,

his daughter Supriya Sule has confirmed. Various tests are being conducted by

the hospital after which Pawar’s condition will be clarified, she added.

Sharad Pawar was

hospitalised last month in oune with problems related to his respiratory

system. He was seen moving on a wheel chair since last few days.

Sharad Pawar

will not be able to attend the election meeting for Sunetra Pawar on Tuesday,

which will be the last meeting before the by-polls. Polling in Baramati and Rahuri

constituencies are scheduled for April 23.

The by-polls are

being held following death of DCM Ajit Pawar, representing Baramati, in a plane

crash on January 28. His wife Sunetra Pawar was made Deputy Chief Minister and

is contesting by-polls from Baramati.

Kardile died and the BJP-led Mahayuti has fielded his son Akshay Kardile in his

place.
