Shillong, 21 April (HS): A massive landslide struck the Shillong–Dawki highway in Meghalaya, severely damaging a Bolero vehicle that was passing through the route.

According to reports, the sudden landslide caused huge boulders and debris to crash onto the vehicle, burying it under rocks and mud. The impact left the vehicle completely mangled.

Rescue teams have reached the spot and launched operations to clear the debris. However, till the time of filing this report, the driver of the vehicle remains untraced, raising fears of a possible tragedy.

Authorities are continuing search and rescue efforts amid challenging conditions in the landslide-hit area.-----------
