Lucknow,

April 21 (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath marched on Tuesday

to protest the failure of a constitution amendment bill, claiming that it

represents women's dissatisfaction of the Congress, Samajwadi Party, TMC, and

DMK's anti-women policies. The government's Constitution (131st Amendment)

Bill, which sought to introduce quotas for women and raise the number of Lok

Sabha seats to 816, was rejected in the Lower House.

The

'Jan Aakrosh Mahila Padyatra' began from Adityanath's official house on Kalidas

Marg and will end at the Uttar Pradesh Assembly. Before the march began,

Adityanath addressed party workers outside his house, saying, This march

is a symbol of resentment prevailing in the country, especially among the

'aadhee abadee' (women) against the anti-women behaviour of the Congress, SP,

TMC, and DMK.

Adityanath,

his deputies Keshav Prasad Maury and Brajesh Pathak, and other BJP officials

joined the march. This march is being organized to protest the failure to adopt

the critical amendment law respecting women's reservation, which has severely

harmed the hopes of millions of mothers and sisters across the country, according

to a statement from the state government.

On

this occasion, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak said that today women are on the

streets because of the opposition. There is a saying that 'seeing the SP men,

daughter is scared'. Deputy CM Keshav Maurya said that there is tremendous

anger among women against SP-Congress. If there is no reservation for women,

then there will be no vote for SP-Congress. All the women power will teach the

opposition a lesson in the upcoming elections. BJP's National General Secretary

Arun Singh said that the opposition not only got the Act defeated together, but

also celebrated and clapped in the House. Everyone is angry about this. We will

not forgive the opposition for this.

CM

Yogi said that this protest march in Lucknow will symbolize the nationwide

outrage against the anti-women behavior of the Samajwadi Party, Congress, TMC,

and DMK. After this, the CM kicked off the padyatra.

The

SP-Congress party's face is undemocratic: At the conclusion of the Jan Aakrosh

Mahila Pad Yatra, the Chief Minister said that every child in the state stands

with half the population in their demands. Whether it's the SP or the Congress

party, their face is undemocratic. The opposition was given an opportunity to

shed its criminal image, but they misused it.
