Gold prices continued their downward trajectory for the second consecutive session during early trading in India's sarafa markets, while silver rates remained unchanged from Monday's close.

In most domestic bullion hubs, 24-carat gold traded between ₹1,55,280 and ₹1,55,990 per 10 grams, with 22-carat gold ranging from ₹1,42,340 to ₹1,42,990 per 10 grams. Silver stayed firm at ₹2,74,900 per kilogram in Delhi, mirroring yesterday's levels.

Delhi saw 24-carat gold at ₹1,55,430 and 22-carat at ₹1,42,490 per 10 grams. Mumbai recorded 24-carat at ₹1,55,280 and 22-carat at ₹1,42,340, while Ahmedabad quoted 24-carat at ₹1,55,330 and 22-carat at ₹1,42,390. Chennai listed 24-carat at ₹1,55,990 and 22-carat at ₹1,42,990; Kolkata and Bengaluru both at ₹1,55,280 (24-carat) and ₹1,42,340 (22-carat).

Bhopal, Lucknow, Patna, and Jaipur followed suit: Bhopal at ₹1,55,330 (24-carat)/₹1,42,390 (22-carat); Lucknow and Jaipur at ₹1,55,430/₹1,42,490; Patna at ₹1,55,330/₹1,42,390. Southern markets in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar mirrored the national downtrend at ₹1,55,280 (24-carat)/₹1,42,340 (22-carat).
