April 20 (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has provided relief
to farmers by taking a major decision regarding wheat procurement. Now farmers
will be able to sell their wheat at government procurement centres even without
farmer registration. On Monday, the Chief Minister has directed all the
District Magistrates to implement this decision with immediate effect, so that
farmers can sell their produce easily as before. It is known that till now it was
mandatory to get farmer registration done to sell wheat at government
procurement centres. Now the government has abolished this requirement. Farmers
will now be able to sell wheat at government procurement centres without farmer
registration.
