Nashik, 20 Apr (HS): Several new clues relating to

alleged sexual exploitation and religious conversion in TCS unit at Nashik,

have come to the fore during investigation. A woman employee made insulting

posts as ‘Player’, ‘Zero Figure’ about her colleagues and objectionable

comments on Hindu deities.

The number of complainant women employees is more

than six. They have levelled charges of exerting pressure for conversion. Nine

FIRs have been registered by the Nashik police and have so far arrested eight

persons, including a woman Operations Manager.

TCS higher authorities on April 17 have stated that

the company has policy of Zero Tolerance’ in such cases and has suspended all

the employees accused in the case. Preliminary reports suggest that the company’s

Ethics and Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Committee has not received

any complaint in this connection.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has also directed

the authorities concerned to meticulously investigate into the case, so that

the guilty face stern action.
