
New Delhi, 20 April (H.S.): Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Monday inspected Azadpur Mandi, Gupta Market and adjoining areas. During the visit, she also reviewed cleanliness, waste lifting and overall management in the surrounding localities, and issued necessary directions to the concerned officials.
The Chief Minister took stock of the development works being carried out by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and the Public Works Department (PWD) and sought progress reports from the officials. She directed all concerned departments to ensure that the movement and convenience of local residents remain the highest priority while carrying out the work.
She further instructed that all projects must be completed with complete transparency, within the stipulated deadline and without compromising on quality, so that the public can receive all essential facilities on time.
The Chief Minister said the
government is developing better infrastructure and citizen-centric facilities for the people of Delhi. She added that new development works have also begun in areas that were neglected for years, and the government is working continuously in mission mode to complete them on time and dedicate them to the public.
