Guwahati, 02 April (HS): Asaduddin Owaisi arrived in Assam late last night to campaign in favour of the AIUDF ahead of the ongoing Assembly elections, intensifying the political atmosphere in the state.

He was warmly received in Guwahati by Ajmal son, marking the beginning of his campaign tour in Assam.

With his arrival, political observers note a sharp rise in aggressive and communally charged election campaigning in the state.

Owaisi is scheduled to participate in multiple election campaign programmes across Assam today.------------
