A bullish trend is visible in the domestic bullion market during early trade today, with prices of gold and silver moving higher. Gold has become costlier by ₹3,150 to ₹3,440 per 10 grams, while silver has also jumped by ₹5,000 per kilogram.

Gold trading in a narrow band

Owing to the sharp rise in gold, in most jewellery markets across the country, 24‑karat gold is trading between ₹1,52,960 and ₹1,53,110 per 10 grams, while 22‑karat gold is selling in the range of ₹1,40,210 to ₹1,40,360 per 10 grams.

Delhi: 24‑karat gold is trading at ₹1,53,110 per 10 grams, with 22‑karat gold at ₹1,40,360 per 10 grams.

Mumbai (financial capital): 24‑karat gold is quoted at ₹1,52,960 and 22‑karat at ₹1,40,210 per 10 grams.

Ahmedabad: Retail prices stand at ₹1,53,010 per 10 grams for 24‑karat gold and ₹1,40,260 per 10 grams for 22‑karat gold.

Chennai, Kolkata, Bhopal, Lucknow, Patna and Jaipur: Across these cities, 24‑karat gold prices range from ₹1,52,960 to ₹1,53,110 and 22‑karat gold from ₹1,40,210 to ₹1,40,360 per 10 grams.

Silver prices and regional markets

Silver prices have also spiked, with the lustrous metal quoted at ₹2,55,100 per kilogram in the early session in the Delhi bullion market.

In bullion markets of Karnataka, Telangana and Odisha, too, gold is witnessing a bullish trend. In the capital cities of these three states—Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar—24‑karat gold is trading at ₹1,52,960 per 10 grams, while 22‑karat gold is being sold at ₹1,40,210 per 10 grams.

Global bullion movement

The rally has spilled over into international markets as well. Spot gold on the Singapore Gold Exchange is trading at US$4,696.29 per ounce, while in the London Silver Market, spot silver is at US$75.57 per ounce, reflecting the broader uptrend in precious metals.
