In an update posted on X, Air India stated that on 2 April 2026, the group’s airlines would operate a total of 34 such flights to and from West Asia. Of these, 18 are non‑scheduled services to and from the United Arab Emirates, aimed at assisting passengers amid the ongoing regional tensions.

The airline said that while services are continuing to certain destinations such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Oman, flights to Doha, Tel Aviv and Kuwait are currently suspended.
