April 15 (HS): The General Manager, North Central Railway Naresh Pal Singh
inaugurated the web-based application “NCR-SAFAR – Staff Accommodation &
Facility Allotment in Railways”
NCR-SAFAR
is a centralized web-based application developed to facilitate online booking
and transparent allotment of Holiday Homes and Subordinate Rest Houses of NCR,
which are available for booking by railway employees across Indian Railways. The
application has been developed by IT Cell/NCR under the able guidance of Atul
Kumar Mishra, CMIT & Dy.GM(G)/NCR, with the objective of digitizing and
streamlining the allotment process.

delays, and enhancing efficiency. It is expected to significantly improve
transparency, accountability, and user convenience across NCR. The General Manager appreciated the efforts of
IT Cell/NCR and emphasized the importance of adopting digital tools for better
governance and service delivery. The launch of NCR-SAFAR marks a significant
step towards modernization and digital transformation in North Central Railway.
