Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya announced on Monday, active efforts to reinstate Formula 1 racing in India by 2027, targeting Greater Noida's Buddh International Circuit after a 13-year hiatus triggered by tax and administrative hurdles post-2013.

Mandaviya revealed three companies expressing interest in circuit operations, with government pledges for tax concessions and robust infrastructure upgrades to render the project viable. A detailed roadmap will materialize within six months, inaugurating at Buddh.

Global tensions, notably West Asia, position India as a secure sports venue. Preceding F1, MotoGP revival is planned to test logistics, capitalizing on 79 million Indian fans amid Adani Group's prospective track custodianship post-JP assets acquisition.
