Sribhumi (Assam), 11 April (HS): Re-polling is being conducted on Saturday at polling station number 239 under the North Karimganj Assembly constituency following the cancellation of the earlier voting due to alleged irregularities.

The voting process began at 7 am and is currently underway at Babylaned High English School, with voters turning up to exercise their franchise amid security arrangements.

The Election Commission had annulled the polling held on April 9 after complaints of irregularities surfaced, prompting authorities to order a fresh poll to ensure a free and fair election process.-----------
