April 11 (HS): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is visiting Lakhimpur Kheri

district on Saturday. He will attend two events there and present projects

worth Rs. 1,311 crore to the district's residents. The first event is in

Chandanchauki, a Tharu area in Paliakalan tehsil. He will arrive there around

11:30 a.m. and participate in a one-hour program. He will present land

ownership letters to Tharu families and Hindu families who migrated from East

Pakistan.

Cheques

will be distributed to the beneficiaries of various government schemes and keys

will be given to the beneficiaries of the Chief Minister Rural Housing Scheme.

A similar event has been organised in Mianpur of Mohammadi. The Chief Minister

will reach here at 1:10 pm. In both the programmes, the Chief Minister will lay

the foundation stone and inaugurate 538 projects for all the seven assembly

constituencies of the district at a cost of Rs 1311 crore. These include the

inauguration of 345 projects worth Rs 356 crore and the foundation stone laying

of 193 projects worth Rs 955 crore. The CM will first reach Chandan Chowki in Palia.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will arrive in Chandanchauki and Mianpur in the

district today, where he will present significant gifts to displaced families

and residents. The Chief Minister's programs, being held at two different

locations, have prevented confusion among government officials. To ensure the

Chief Minister's program is successful, the police and administration have been

divided into two groups.

The

DM, SP, and other officers will take charge at Chandan Chowki, while the

Commissioner, CMO, ADM, and other officers will be in Mianpur. The

administration claims that preparations have been completed. On Friday,

officials led by Commissioner Vijay Vishwas Pant arrived at the venue to review

the preparations.

Yogi posted on X about his visit to Lakhimpur Kheri. He wrote that another

important chapter of service, compassion, and resolve is about to be added to

Lakhimpur Kheri. Land rights pattas will be allotted to local Tharu families

and families who have migrated from eastern Uttar Pradesh, affected by river

erosion. Additionally, house keys will be distributed to beneficiaries of the

Chief Minister's Housing Scheme (Rural), and the foundation stone and

inauguration of 314 projects will be held. Following the path of Antyodaya, the

double-engine government is committed to providing every citizen with a

dignified life and new opportunities for progress in every sector.

It

further states that today, on the sacred land of Lakhimpur Kheri, the dreams of

rights, development, and permanent housing will all come true simultaneously.

Transferable/non-transferable land ownership certificates will be distributed

to 331 Hindu families displaced from Bangladesh, and the foundation stone of

213 projects will be laid and inaugurated. Additionally, beneficiaries under

the Chief Minister's Housing Scheme (Rural) will be given the keys to their

homes. All these initiatives symbolize the double-engine government's

commitment to providing dignity and comfort to the last person in line.

The

Chief Minister will first reach Chandan Chowki in Palia, where he will grant

land rights to Tharu families and families residing here from eastern Uttar

Pradesh. He will distribute cheques to beneficiaries of various schemes. The

Chief Minister will hand over symbolic keys to beneficiaries of the Rural

Housing Scheme. He will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate construction

works.

During

this time, children will welcome the Chief Minister by presenting him with hats

made under the ODOP scheme. The Chief Minister will then travel to

Mianpur in Mohammadi, where he will grant land rights to families displaced

during Partition. He will also distribute checks to beneficiaries of various

schemes. He will also hand over keys to houses to beneficiaries of the Chief

Minister's Rural Housing Scheme.

Tight

security arrangements, entry of vehicles from Nepal border stopped: Security

arrangements have been completely tightened in Palia and surrounding areas in

view of the arrival of Chief Minister Yogi. In view of the CM's visit, the

police administration has made major changes in the traffic system and has

converted the entire area into a cantonment. CO Jitendra Kumar Parihar said

that for security reasons, entry of all vehicles coming from Nepal towards

Palia was completely stopped from 6 am on Saturday. Barriers have been set up

at the border and intensive checking is being done. Bus operations on the

Gauriphanta-Paliya route will also be temporarily halted.

General

traffic will be restricted on the route from Dignia to Chandanchauki via

Bankati. Commercial vehicles going from Palia to Chandanchauki via Dudhwa will

also be stopped, however cars and two-wheelers of people going to attend the

public meeting will be given full freedom to go. All traffic restrictions will

be lifted after the Chief Minister's helicopter departs at around 1 pm. In view

of the Chief Minister's security, three Additional Superintendents of Police,

nine Police Circle Officers, 40 Inspectors in Charge, 150 Sub-Inspectors, 250

constables, 100 women constables and two companies of PAC have been deployed to

monitor the entire area.
