Mumbai, 11 Apr (HS): Three people charred to death

in a major fire that broke out on Friday night in Bhayandar suburb of Mumbai.

Almost 50 huts turnesh to ashes on a reserved plot in Indralok Phase-4. Bhayndar police are investigation into the

case.

The Investigating Police Officer on Saturday told

the media that the fire was a result of blast in a gas cylinder resulting in multiple

blasts of cylinders in the slum. The Fire Brigade immediately started removing

remaining gas cylinders to control further blasts and the fire. By Saturday

morning the fire was brought under control.

Three people died in the fire and have been

identified as Guddu Ram (46), Suraj Liyakat Ali Mandal (14) and Rohit Ramhat

Ali Mandal (15).
