The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) launched a cutting-edge fintech portal Friday in collaboration with Shriram Finance Limited, aimed at democratizing credit access for merchants, MSMEs, startups, and women entrepreneurs nationwide through seamless digital integration.

MP and CAIT National General Secretary Praveen Khandelwal, alongside Shriram Finance's Joint Managing Director and COO GM Jilani, inaugurated the platform at the Constitution Club of India. Khandelwal highlighted its tailored design for CAIT affiliates, leveraging Shriram Finance's robust disbursement infrastructure to offer diverse products including secured/unsecured MSME loans, personal loans, gold loans, two-wheeler financing, and commercial vehicle funding.

The hybrid model facilitates digital applications while finalizing disbursals via Shriram Finance's extensive branch network on a pincode basis, marrying online efficiency with personalized support to bridge accessibility gaps.

Khandelwal emphasized the synergy of CAIT's vast trader base and Shriram Finance's lending prowess to deliver transparent, effective formal finance.

Jilani underscored the partnership's role in extending credit through trusted channels to small businesses at the heart of India's growth story, addressing persistent formal lending hurdles amid evolving economic demands.
