Global markets signaled strength today amid hopes of West Asia conflict resolution, boosted by President Donald Trump's indication that the US could exit the Iran war in one to two weeks. This optimism propelled surges across regions.
US markets closed sharply higher Tuesday: S&P 500 rose 184.80 points (2.91%) to 6,528.52; Nasdaq gained 795.99 points (3.83%) at 21,590.63. Dow Jones futures traded up 0.17% at 46,421.02.
European and Asian Gains
European indices ended firm: FTSE up 0.48% at 10,176.45; CAC 0.57% to 7,816.94; DAX 0.52% or 117.16 points to 22,680.04.
Asia witnessed uniform advances—all nine indices green. Gift Nifty +2.41% (541 points) at 22,973.50; Hang Seng +2.06% (520.86 points) at 25,309. Kospi soared 7.49% (378.24 points) to 5,430.70; Nikkei +4.56% (2,327.28 points) at 53,391; Taiwan Weighted +4.28% (1,356.81 points) to 33,079.80. Straits Times +1.83% at 4,974.88; Jakarta Composite +1.60% (112.50 points) to 7,160.72; SET Composite +1.50% at 1,469.80; Shanghai Composite +1.36% at 3,944.80.
