U.S. President Donald Trump delivered a stark warning to Iran aboard Air Force One on Saturday, declaring negotiations futile and hinting that the ongoing U.S.-Israeli air campaign could obliterate Tehran’s military and leadership entirely.Trump stated bluntly, At some point, I don't think there will be anybody left maybe to say 'We surrender,' in response to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian’s dismissal of his demand for unconditional surrender as a dream.

This rhetoric underscores Trump’s rejection of diplomacy as the U.S.-Israeli war against Iran enters its second week, marked by relentless exchanges of strikes across the Middle East.

Pezeshkian’s attempt to de-escalate by apologizing to Gulf neighbors for Iran’s attacks on U.S. facilities in their territories backfired domestically, igniting fury among hardliners like the Revolutionary Guards and judiciary chief Mohseni-Ejei. He later omitted the apology in a social media post, while Iran’s Guards claimed drone strikes on a U.S. air center near Abu Dhabi and bases in Bahrain, amid unverified blasts in Doha.

Saudi Arabia warned Tehran of retaliation for attacks on its energy sector, foiling a drone assault on Riyadh’s diplomatic quarter, while Kuwait reported strikes on its airport fuel tanks. Israel escalated pressure on Lebanon, threatening a very heavy price unless Hezbollah curbs cross-border fire, reducing Beirut suburbs to rubble and killing around 300 since Monday.

Casualties mount dramatically: Iran reports 1,332 civilian deaths from U.S.-Israeli strikes on missile sites and command centers in Tehran, with 10 Israeli and six U.S. service member fatalities. Iran’s chaos strategy has choked the Strait of Hormuz, driving oil to multi-year highs and forcing output cuts by Kuwait, Iraq, and Qatar.
