Ahmeda6, 06 March (H.S.): The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the umpires and match officials for the T20 World Cup final. India and New Zealand will clash on March 8 at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium.

England's Richard Illingworth and Alex Wharf will serve as on-field umpires. Illingworth officiates his second consecutive men's T20 World Cup final, having stood with Chris Gaffaney in the 2024 final. His resume includes the 2023 World Cup final and 2025 ICC Champions Trophy final.

For Wharf, this marks his first senior ICC World Cup men's final; a former England cricketer, he officiated the 2022 Women's World Cup and 2023 men's event, earning Emirates ICC Elite Panel promotion last year.

South Africa's Allahudien Paleker will be third umpire, England's Adrian Holdstock fourth umpire, and Andy Pycroft match referee. Paleker, Elite Panel member since March 2025, has umpired six tournament matches.
