Washington, DC, 05 March (H.S.): U.S. President Donald Trump, now 79 and navigating his second term, is undergoing a routine preventative skin treatment for a conspicuous red rash on his neck, as confirmed by White House physician Dr. Sean Barbabella. The blotchy, red marking appeared prominently on the right side of Trump's neck during a Medal of Honor ceremony on Monday, drawing widespread attention in photographs.

Dr. Barbabella described the condition as minor, noting that Trump is applying a common over-the-counter cream for one week, with redness anticipated to persist a few more weeks.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt offered no further specifics when pressed by reporters on Wednesday. This revelation arrives against a backdrop of intensified public scrutiny over Trump's physical well-being, the oldest president ever inaugurated. Recent observations have included hand bruises—initially blamed on aspirin use and a minor mishap abroad—and leg swelling diagnosed last July as chronic venous insufficiency, a prevalent issue among those over 70. Trump often contrasts his vigor with that of his predecessor, Joe Biden.
