New Delhi, 04 March (H.S.): Amid the West Asia crisis, low-cost carrier SpiceJet has accelerated efforts to bring home Indian nationals stranded in Gulf countries, announcing eight special flights from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) today.
In a statement released Wednesday, the airline confirmed all eight flights will depart from Fujairah, connecting to key Indian cities: four to Delhi, four to Mumbai, and one additional to Kochi. This follows four special flights operated on March 3 from the UAE to Delhi, Mumbai, and Kochi.
SpiceJet added that it will resume scheduled Fujairah-Delhi and Fujairah-Mumbai services starting March 4, aiming to restore normal connectivity.
Meanwhile, Air India has suspended most flights to and from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Israel, and Qatar until 11:59 PM on March 4 due to ongoing disruptions.
